Qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup of tent pegging

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Alia bint Al Hussein, may God protect her, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will host the qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup of Tent Pegging. The tournament will be held in Aqaba – South Beach, opposite the Mövenpick Tala Bay Hotel, over three days, from January 29th to 31st.

The tournament is organized in cooperation between the Royal Jordanian Equestrian Federation and the Public Security Directorate, with the participation of eight countries: Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Kuwait, Indonesia, Germany, India, Norway, and the host country, Jordan.

The tournament schedule is as follows:

Day 1 – Thursday, January 29, 2026:
Lance competitions on pegs (6 cm and 4 cm), in individual, pairs, and team categories.

Day 2 – Friday, January 30, 2026:
Sword competitions on pegs (6 cm and 4 cm), in individual, pairs, and team categories.

Day Three – Saturday 31/01/2026 (Final Day):
The Hanging Competitions (two rings and pegs + two lemons and pegs) on pegs (6 cm),
In addition to the relay event, which is held in full team format.
